EMC Scan

API has been providing SEE scans to component supplies of leading hand-held electronics manufacturers. Standard SEE scan procedures and the report format make the shielding effectiveness comparison easier.

API is capable of performing EMI scans on following frequency ranges with API developed probes and software.

Standard Test:

Various types of disturbances are injected to the DUT, and responses are observed and recorded at every injection point. The disturbances can be magnetic or electric fields that cause fluctuations in voltage or current in the net, respective, or direct injection of currents. API's immunity scan technologies provide troubleshooting for ESD failures, screening out problematic components for standard immunity tests and deeper understanding of EMC behavior of the DUT.

IC ESD Design Consulting & Tests:

API has been providing IC ESD (HBM, MM and CDM) and LU design consulting services for more than ten years with its own patented protection structures. Design experiences cover high voltage, low power, high speed and foundry cells to keep IC's from IO cells, core circuit or power rail crossing failures.
